Our Coronavirus Response

Our Coronavirus Response

Setpoint Systems will remain open and maintain our normal business hours of M-F 8am-5pm, in addition to providing 24/7 support. We are closely monitoring the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) at a global and local level. The safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is our top priority. We have developed a plan to navigate the effects of this pandemic, in addition to keeping you safe and providing the support and service to keep you successful.

Supply Chain

We continue to monitor the procurement of materials and other goods we use in our standard processes. We are actively reaching out to all our suppliers and asking for:

  • Their mitigation strategies
  • Inventory position
  • Potential material shortages
  • Increased, open communication regarding any COVID-19 effects

In addition to the health and safety activities happening at Setpoint Systems, we are choosing to quarantine any items received from countries that have been affected by the virus. This, along with special material handling practices, are extra steps we are taking to protect our employees.

Because of this, there may be a temporary delay in shipments of specialty or custom items. In preparation, we are actively working on increasing current levels of finished goods, including ‘off the shelf’ and specialty items.

We will continue to work with our supply base to ensure we are informed of any change of circumstance. As this happens, we will notify our customer base. If you have any foreseen changes in demand or would like to let us know of changes in your upcoming projects, please contact your account manager and/or project manager, or email us at info@setpointsysems.com.

Employees and Their Environment

We have implemented several procedures designed to keep our workforce safe and thus able to serve our customers:

  • Non-essential business travel has been suspended. Each request is looked at on a case-by-case basis.
  • Additional supplies have been furnished such as temperature testing kits, sanitizing supplies.
  • Heightened personal hygiene and workplace sanitation.
  • Employees who become sick or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 have been instructed to stay home and seek medical guidance.
  • Cancellation or postponement of large on-site meetings and events.

Visiting Setpoint Systems HQ

We are encouraging any face-to-face visits to be replaced by an online web-based solution.

Training class sizes have been reduced to allow individual spacing, masks and hand sanitizers are available upon request, and rooms will be sterilized before class.

Should any of our customers visit our site, before being allowed to enter the building, we will ask them to confirm that they have not visited any high-risk areas and that they do not believe they are carrying any flu-like symptoms. We ask all visitors to follow the same procedures as our staff, such as sanitizing their hands with each entry into one of our buildings.

We’re praying for the health and safety of our valued business partners as well as the health and safety of our great country.
